So as soon as the EA app pops up again after trying to boot the game, the event viewer lists an error with EAAntiCheatService ExitType: 95 (251) and another event within the system tab says:
EAAntiCheatService error code %%4294901855
I reinstalled the x64 and x86 redistributable packages after uninstalling everything that has been there before - nothing helped, still the same error. Do I really have to reset my entire PC and reinstall windows?
It sounds like EA anticheat is closing the game. I'm not sure why, maybe there's an app running on Windows that it doesn't like?
You mention an antivirus program. If it's a 3rd party app maybe uninstalling it might help?

Which Windows version do you have, Win10 or Win11?
