BF2042 Not Launching
I've tried literally everything I've seen on the this forum as well as reddit and YouTube such as -Updating windows (Windows 10 22H2) -Updating Geforce GPU Drivers (531.26 the hotfix one) -Unins...

I've tried every solution I have been able to google, find on Steam forum, EA forum, Reddit and what not.
+7h in trouble shooting and I am not getting anywhere.
- Restart multiple times
- Validating files multiple times
- Run as administrator on .exe, launcher, anticheat, EA app
- Started from Steam
- Started from EA app
- Connected EA app to Steam
- Logging in via mail on EA app
- Installing certificates
- Removing Webroot
- Clearing cache in Steam
- Deleting BF2042 folder in my documents
- Cleaning all drives for all related files and reinstalling
- Launching in offline mode does nothing
- Removing all overlays
- Repairing Easy Anticheat
- Closing or not closing the background app does no difference
- Deleting and downloading EA app from website and launching game from desktop
No matter where I start from. I get the EA app blank screen popping up, then it close, then the EA app comes up and close, small EA app blank screen comes up and stays for a while, everything close and nothing more happen.
I see EA app background service starting in task manager and then EA app, then EA app close, re-open and then close again. EA background keeps running in the end
All of above has been done in various combinations. Nothing works and I am third day of not playing while my friends keep being able to fix their problem and play

From steam.
Had a friend help me for an hour or so. We actually solved the problem.
- remove run as admin from all the executable files
- close EA, background service and steam
- right click steam and select run as admin
- validate BF2042 files
- start game from inside steam
No more troubles. It seems like there was a validation error after the first EA log on screen and it kept looping inside the EA environment. It got solved by validating as admin and nothing else
i had the same * happen to me like. My trouble started with Cod Mw2 where it was just crashing so after like 12 hours of trying to fix that i gave up and moved over to battlefield 2042 and wow it * works after a small fix like that.........maybe it was the new graphics card driver 531.29 but holy * its so annoying
