I’m not sure if EA wants to solve it: they have a ton of new players because the game is in an Abo this month for PlayStation or so. In order to support the (small) veteran player base and the new ones they would have to rent more servers. In limiting the access they: 1. Don’t have to rent more servers; 2. The new players will mainly encounter other new players and won’t be frustrated right away.
My guess the problem will disappear as soon as the game is not available “for free” for such a big player base any more.
Fed up with the poor optimization since season 3 and now I can rarely launch the game. When I can launch it, the battle pass progress doesn't advance. What a pathetic experience.
