BF2042 season 4 spontaneously minimizing

If I launch the game and let it sit for a few minutes on the main menu screen, with no input at all, the game will spontaneously minimize to the taskbar. Same thing happens during gameplay. The game is not crashing; ALT-TAB brings it back. This has never occurred before and started a few days ago.

Does not appear to be associated with resolution, EA or GFE overlay settings, or game mode, nor is it related to a framerate limiter. System is water cooled and running at 40-50C under load.

I have noticed that there are some massive CPU stutters in the main menu during initialization, since the latest season 4 BF2042 updates.

I am contemplating a fresh install of Windows11, but if this is an issue with the game itself, I don't want to waste my time.

EDIT: Clean installation of Windows 11 and BF2042 appears to have fixed the problem.
