BF2042 won't launch

Hello everyone!

I cannot launch BF2042 Gold Edition purchased in Steam. I've been playing in Beta using the same account for like 20 hours with no issues. When I launch it from Steam (or from Origin, doesn't matter) the game opens a black window, loads something for ~10 seconds and closes with no any additional error message.

However, I can see an error message in C:\ProgramData\Origin\logs directory

"Could not find the getTableData request function in the loaded library. This only affects Denuvo v2 and has no effect when using a newer version. License signature is good."

I cannot google almost anything except some FIFA related topics with no resolutions.

The Origin's "repair" function opens Steam verification process and it gets completed with no errors.

I already tried to reinstall the game and even more - I performed a clean Windows installation, but the result is the same. I've also tried to install clean Windows 11 and it still won't launch.

I can launch the game from my intel-based laptop using the same Steam account.

PC specs are:

Ryzen 3900xt

2060 RTX (the drivers are 496.49)

Maybe someone could give me a clue what's wrong with the game on Ryzen?

EA support cannot help me. Reddit and Steam threads are empty as well.

Thanks!

    /Atic
  • Yes, DOCP was enabled, but I tried to doe a factory reset of all the BIOS settings including the DOCP (AMD's XMP) profile. There is no other overclocking of any kind.

  • @Sick139 try to isntall lastest GPU driver that work well. for AMD, my case, newest driver have such issue, but lastest driver is OK.
