WTF EA? fix the problem with joining on friends in game. Restarted computer (used to work) Re-installed ea app all to no avail. Ruining the game. Cannot join friends to play. Get it together.
Playing PC. Can see friends in game bit cannot join on them. Only option is invite to party. Another day of quitting early. No fun.
Not just you. You and your friend both need to do it because it might not be on your side only.
came here to say this. My friends are online and EA app says in game. But when i open the game, there is no option to join them as if they are just online. But they are playing because they are in opposite team lol
That doesn't work. None of the "solutions" suggested on the internet work.
I and many others that I know have tried clearing the EA app cache. Restarted the app. Removed and re-added friends individually. Uninstalled BF2042. Uninstalled EA app. (I even cleared all remnant registry entries afterwards to be sure) Reinstalled both. Reset bios settings, including anything to do with secure boot then re-set it up.
Nothing works. It's very clear that the problem is on their side.

It´s a fundamental problem with the whole game both on the client and server side, but EA is focused on the new title and their other game. This is just one of many problems that makes this game a pig with makeup.
They are eager to release skins to earn money on micro transaktions and when people stop play or buy them, they lower the price, so new players get introduced. They fall for the trick and open their wallets to buy the skins. After a while they realise how bad everything works and stops to play. They lower the price again and...ta daaaa. Everything repeats.
