Cannot load game past EAC loading screen

When trying to launch the game, the EasyAnti-Cheat splash screen will open and the progress bar fills, but the BF2042 exe never launches. I've tried to reinstall the certificates for both EAC and BF2...

    @Rokebo73 So, after using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall literally everything EA related (including all games) and my VPN client, deleting every bit of EAC on my computer that I could possibly find, and reinstalling everything BUT my VPN client- I've restarted 3 times and the game loads every time. My guess was some old file just straight up didn't uninstall when it was supposed to- whether that be EAC or something else related to EA Desktop- It loads now. I might dabble and reinstall my VPN client tomorrow to see if that makes a difference because I'd rather have that running for other things, but for now it works. I'll update tomorrow after I reinstall the VPN client and test it out with a couple restarts so that we can hopefully close this thing out.

Everything you mentioned earlier doesn't work.

@nwmn2x7d41na  did ya rename the EasyAntiCheat folder ?
What happend after ya renamed the folder and launched game ?


ps delete EasyAntiCheat folder at C:\Program Files (x86)

also delete EasyAntiCheat at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming

now test game

ps USERNAME at youre system is different from my system, check it !

    Sadly but that didn't help either, I cannot play any game that uses EAC, I can manually start them but I won't be able to play them due to missing services which makes sense yk.. I've tried a lot of methods starting from, repairing EAC, uninstalling it ( revo included ) using CMD to fix some problems, disabling firewall, AV, installing EAC with bat files and etc. No idea what to do now tbh. The only reasonable fix I could find would be, one of the services is interrupting with EAC, but which one of them I have no IDEA, and yet that may not even be the case :/

    @nwmn2x7d41na what software do ya got installed ? EAC can be blocked by malware/antivirus , 3rd party security software !
