Summarize your bug The game will not start if launched from a hard drive. This affects both the EA App and Steam (tested via free trial).
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Install the game on a hard drive via either platform, and start it up.
What happens when the bug occurs? The title card for the current season will not show, and only the background videos will appear on the title screen. When the game window is selected, your cursor will not appear. Clicking around does nothing and will not allow you to proceed. Same goes for pressing Space and Enter on the keyboard.
What should be happening instead? The title and a way to proceed should be present on the title screen.
To clarify what I mean by "Title Card", I'm referring to the image shown at the start of this video (example is for Season 3 but the issue is present in the current update).
As stated in my DxDiag file, I am using Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC, a non-standard version of Windows. In testing, however, the issue is also present on Windows 10 Education, an SKU closer to the standard Home and Pro editions. Another user I have contacted had the same issue on Pro.
In addition to this, my hard drive (separate from the SSD my operating system is installed on) is formatted as BTRFS, and is accessed using the driver WinBTRFS. Again, however, another user had the same issue with NTFS.
