Autohotkey Error start to appear after recent updates across BF1, BFV and BF2042
I have never used any type of software and suddenly after recent update this started to happen. I have seen many users having this issues lately. Only software running is NVIDIA control panel, MSI after burner and Logitech G-hub ?!! I have a problem across all recent BF games BF 1 , BF V and BF 2042. I still have to try some of the things, will see what happens, but this is concerning. It truly is ! Ensure AutoHotkey or Similar Programs are Not Running Check Background Processes: Sometimes, AutoHotkey scripts or similar software may still be running in the background even if you don't actively use them. You can check Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to make sure there are no scripts or programs running that might be triggering the anti-cheat. Close Background Software: If you're using any programs for custom keybinds, overlays, or macros (like Razer Synapse, Logitech G Hub, etc.), try disabling them temporarily and relaunch the game. Verify Game Files Corrupted Files: EAC might flag certain files if there are corrupted or missing files. You can try verifying the integrity of your game files via Steam (or the respective game launcher). Right-click on the game in your library > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files. Check for Other Software Interference Security Software: Anti-virus software or firewall settings can sometimes cause interference with anti-cheat software, thinking it's an intrusion. Try temporarily disabling or adding exceptions to your firewall/antivirus to see if it’s causing the issue. Overlay Software: Disable any third-party overlay software (like Discord, Nvidia GeForce Experience, Steam’s overlay, etc.) to see if that resolves the issue. Run Game as Administrator Admin Privileges: Sometimes, anti-cheat issues can arise from permissions. Try running the game and/or the EA app as an administrator (right-click the executable > Run as Administrator). Reinstall EA AntiCheat Reinstall EAC: If none of the above works, you can try reinstalling the EA AntiCheat. Go to the Battlefield directory, find the "EA AntiCheat" folder, and reinstall it. If you're using the EA app, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Check for Conflicting Keybinds Keybind Conflicts: Even if you're not using AutoHotkey, certain keybinds or macros (even if manually configured in software like Razer Synapse) can sometimes be flagged as "suspicious." Try resetting your keybinds or clearing any macros to see if that helps.Game crashes upon death
Bug Report: Battlefield 2042 Crash on Death Animation So earlier today I started back playing Battlefield 2042 after not playing for about a year due to the new Dead Space collab with the new Outbreak mode. However, I'm having a serious issue where every time I die, right as the death animation starts to play, the game freezes and crashes immediately with no error message. This happens in all modes. I've looked online and seen others with similar issues. Some reported that deleting the cache folder for the game helped, but it was only a temporary fix — the issue returned within 30–45 minutes. Since deleting the folder didn’t help, I decided to reinstall the game, even though it’s large. Unfortunately, the problem got slightly worse: it started freezing even faster, sometimes before the death animation even starts. I then consulted ChatGPT, which recommended analyzing the crash dump file using a program called WinDbg. I did so, and shared the analysis with ChatGPT to interpret the results. ChatGPT Response Summary: Root Cause Summary: The crash was due to an Access Violation (0xC0000005) — specifically a read from a null or invalid pointer (0x0000000000000008). Crash Details: Module: amdxc64.dll (likely part of AMD graphics drivers) Function: Boost Serialization (boost::archive::detail::iserializer::load_object_data) Crash Reason: Attempted to read from RCX + 8, but RCX was NULL (0x0), leading to a crash. Contextual Clues: Crash occurred while BF2042.exe was running. Involves amdxc64.dll — a common AMD GPU driver library. Occurred during Boost serialization and DirectX 12 GPU pipeline operations. Likely Cause: A pointer used by the AMD graphics driver during deserialization or pipeline setup was NULL, causing the game to crash. So at this point, having done nearly every troubleshooting step and even running diagnostics with the help of ChatGPT, this is the closest I’ve gotten to an explanation. Hopefully someone from the developer team can help investigate further. And yes, before anyone asks — I did try switching the game to run in DirectX 11. The same issue persists. System Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT RAM: 32 GB DDR4 OS: Windows 11 Home, 64-bit Driver Version: AMD Adrenalin – latest version as of May 2025 Troubleshooting Performed: Verified game files via Steam Reinstalled the game Updated GPU drivers to the latest AMD version Set game to run as administrator Disabled all overlays (Discord, Steam, Radeon) Disabled all background apps No overclocking is done on this systemAudio drops out entirely throughout entire PC
So when i boot the game, i get maybe 5 seconds where i can hear audio in the main menu before it cuts out my device entirely and not just within battlefield its my ENTIRE PC, all sounds from system and any other apps. I use XLR headphones through a scarlet amp so i think battlefield may be having issues with it as if i switch to my speakers it works just fine and audio comes back but if i switch but it all cuts out again. Ive tried updating drivers and lowering the bitrate through my headphones but the issue prevailsEa AntiCheat
I haven't played the game in a month when I launched the EA app and updated the game I played a match after a minute or so I get this error and I don't know how to fix it I deleted the anti-cheat, reinstalled it, updated the anti-cheat, did nothing, deleted the entire ea app event view show me this error File System Filter 'EAAntiCheat' (Version 10.0, 2025-05-07T20:56:30.000000000Z) unloaded successfully.EA App not pulling through Xbox Friends
Hello, I need some help with this one I am baffled. I have been playing 2042 now for a while with my brother, I am on PC and he is on Xbox and we have played since release via Xbox Gamepass on PC. All of a sudden the social tab shows no one is online, yet we can join the same private server but he is not seeing invites and vice versa... I have tried EVERYTHING... please help EA!BF2042 Crash – Access Violation in amdxc64.dll
Battlefield 2042 crashes reproducibly during DirectX12 pipeline initialization. Two minidumps analyzed with WinDbg show an access violation inside amdxc64.dll at offset 0x208080. Exception code is 0xC0000005 – a read from NULL (rcx = 0, [rcx+8]). This happens inside a Boost::serialization function. Stack trace includes D3D12Core and BF2042's DeviceInit. Application Verifier was enabled in one test, confirming the error. amdxc64!boost::archive::detail::iserializer<sc_xml_iarchive, _SC_SI_PS_ATTR_CH_ENTRY>::load_object_data+0x208080 Exception Code: 0xC0000005 – INVALID_POINTER_READ Address: 0x0000000000000008 (rcx was null) The crash occurs while accessing [rcx+8] where rcx = 0, indicating a null pointer read inside the driver module, likely triggered by the game engine (Frostbite) when handling serialized shader or graphics data. Suggested Action: Please investigate how BF2042 passes pipeline/shader data to the AMD driver. A faulty object or driver issue might be the cause. Coordination with AMD may be necessary.Wheeled warrior not popping
Hello! I would love to be able to get the platinum of this game and wheeled warrior is my last trophy missing and even although I have completed the requirements and obtained T1 with LATV4 and Pondhawk didn’t get no trophy yet. I will keep playing this amazing get and eventually get more vehicles to T1 but is there anything that can be done about it? I have tried several ways to try to unlock it like launching random games, getting them to level 41 or waiting some days and nothing seems to work. Any advice or fixed on this matter would help a lot. I know other people have the same issue.I was unfairly banned from BF2042 and accused of cheating.
I am extremely outraged—I have never used any kind of cheat in any game. I have only one account for games on Steam, and I only buy games there. The only thing I did on my PC was open Steam and launch BF2042. Recently, I received an email in the morning stating that my account was banned for using cheats. I followed the instructions in the email and appealed, believing it was a mistake, but they said they would uphold the decision. I sent screenshots of my Steam account (no cheater would risk their main account), and I offered to provide whatever they needed as proof that I did not cheat. However, they only reply with a generic message saying the decision will stand. Has anyone ever managed to get a real review? Has anyone ever gotten their account back? Is there anything I can do? If I have to buy the game again and keep switching accounts just to play, I’ll simply give up—it’s not worth the effort.
