BF2042 - Failed to launch game - and further problems with EA app/licensing
I've been struggling since 19.08.25 getting the game to launch. Seems like it happened after BF6 Open Beta, which worked just fine. I have reinstalled 4 times, repaired every possible file, updated, cleared all types of cashe, both EA and Temp files. I have tested 3 different Nvidia drivers (im at 577.00 atm). I have done multiple Clean/safe boots over the past days with different and all services disabled and so on. I have tried new Windows Admin user, and upgrading from Windows 10 to 11 with no luck. I've spoken to 6 different EA help supports going thru their manuals time after time, nothing seems to work. I even baught a new copy thru Steam, that didnt work either. All kinds of firewall settings have been tested, i even verified every possible EA sertificate and signatures of the executables. After 20 hours of trying to resolve this, I figured I'll buy an EA Play subscribtion, to download any other game that uses Javelin Anticheat. By doing so, suddenly my other games licenses became invalid. So now Battlefield 3 / 4 doesnt launch either. I have deleted the %ProgramData%\*\License files, trying to renew them, that doesnt work either. Now i'm stuck with all these problems, and EA support-chat can't resolve or help anymore, they allways replies; wait another 24 hour to see if it works. I'm tired of waiting. Any clues out there please? I feel like i've tried everything, even advanced options, but I may have missed a simple try? (Impossible to run ProcMon.exe/ProcExp.exe due to Anticheat for further investigation) I've included complete DxDiag from Win10 (20.08.25) and Win11 (23.08.25)
Regarding the recoil bug of the M1 Garand
The M1 Garand's recoil is extremely inconsistent between standing and crouching. The recoil when crouching is significantly lower than when standing. While the game reduces recoil when crouching, the M1's reduction is excessive. I'm not sure whether the standing or crouching recoil should be the standard, but if the standing recoil is the benchmark, this gun feels way too punishing.Newest update 9.2.0 makes game lag horribly
bf2042 version 9.2.0 makes the game extremely laggy to the point its unplayable to the point I have to hit alt f4 the game ran flawlessly before this update so it’s going to be almost impossible to complete the challenges to unlock items on the free pass EA needs to send out a patch to fix this issue because I’ve turned down graphics settings and shut others off and my internet connection is perfectly good

Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Select portal menu, choose host own experience or whats it called. Choose one of your own servers, try host and error occurs. What happens when the bug occurs? Error message top right corner, cant start match/server. What should be happening instead? server should start and game should work. Can't load Battlefield 2042
So today, I decided I wanted to play 2042 again after the BF6 beta. So I load up the game, and it loads up to the loading screen, then I get a beeping noise, and then an error showing up saying that Anti-Cheat found that one of my Alienware files needs to be disabled or updated. Fine, did an update through Windows. Restarted the computer, loaded up the EA app, loaded 2042, same error message. Okay. So I decided to repair the game. Did that, load up. SAME ERROR. At this point, I am utterly confused and frustrated with EA and their stupid system. So I come here to find a solution. The file that Anti-cheat says needs to be updated is NITIOLib.sys, NITIOLib_Thermals_X64.sys, or NITIOLib_X64.sys. If someone can help me, that would be great. I am not very tech-savvy. Hi, i buy the game today, download and install by the EA app, but, when i start the game, the game not pass from the loading screen and return to me to EA app and basically trow me one message that say (the game cant load because a technical issue, please try again later). I unistall the game, clean cache, and reinstall from the app and doesnt work. I want to know how i can do, now i update my RTX drivers and all the products Nvidia. My Notebook (Acer Nitro5, Nvidia RTX 3050, 16gb Ram, I7 last generation). Thanks and i hope anybody can help me.
