Can't find my friend with EA ID

Can't find my friend with EA ID. My friend plays on Xbox Series S and I play from PC. We can't find each other.

    Hi @Hisukurifu24, 

    Have you and your friend both double-checked to make sure that you have the options for cross-play and invites enabled in your account privacy settings?

    So we both have adult accounts and I found him on the ea app but when I put the exact account name into the game nothing. I can see other Xbox names but not his. And the same thing is on his side, he can’t find me. Any solutions now?

    Hmm, gotcha. 

    Just to confirm, you're able to find them in the EA App using their Xbox Gamertag, or using their EA Account ID?

    What is your friend seeing from their side? Are they having the exact same issue when they're trying to search for you?

    @EA_Kent Yes. And it’s worth noting that I only found him on the ea desktop app after typing in his email. Searching his username returned nothing but I was able to find him via his email. For Battlefield however searching from his end or mine returns no results. We then checked to make sure we were both on the 5-gen version of the game (PS5 and new Xbox) which we were.
