What's the make and model of the mouse?
If you are using Logitech G Hub then better don't reply to OskooI_007 message. EA don't like G Hub

What happens when you try binding the side mouse button to crouch? Does the side button not show as bound to crouch in the game?
Have you tried closing Razer Synapse, and then binding the side mouse button in Battlefield?
