DICE TeamHi @twitchandooo, the issues you are experiencing is related to the unstable FPS you are having.
Your CPU is maxing out and will be the bottleneck for your experience. (I moved from the Skylake CPU to something newer and that did day and night difference.)

Not entirely sure that is the case. There might be a underlaying problem.
I have a i7-8700K (No OC), RTX 3080 and 32 GB Ram.
On 29th Sept. starting getting these issues, without updating my Nvidia drivers or anything.
I tried everything, went from 90+ FPS to 30-45 FPS with tons of these warnings. CPU is not thermal throttling, GPU is not neither.
I have changed nothing in-game or installed any software in Windows.
So I tried to move the game from my "gaming SSD", Samsung EVO 850 SSD to my dedicated m.2 SSD, with still nothing.
I have to friends, both with same RAMs, CPUs, Windows 10 and same harddrives run over the settings.
One is running everything on low with 2070 Super card, getting around 70 FPS, while the other have 3070 and getting 80-90 FPS and runs the game on ULTRA with the same RAM, and CPU (!!!!!)
I used to run the game around 95 FPS, maybe a bit less with tons of explosions and what ever could happen. I tried updating the Nvidia to the newest driver (had the next-newest before I updated) with no results. I even tried setting everything to LOW, and still have the same FPS.
I do not understand how I can play this game fine, one day and then suddenly getting these issues.

- @BabylonDK you should delete your profiles. I see no resolution settings in your profile, who tells the game to run on.
PS , check your motherboard manufacture site, NVME shares PCIEl lanes, Your got multiple GPU cards and NVME drives ruinning, check this, i believe you go from pcie16 to pcie8 at some point !
Get into the data and let us know ! - @BabylonDK Same here my friend that I always play with has the same RAM, CPU, Windows 10 and both stored on SSDs but our difference is that I have a RTX 3070 Ti and he has a GTX 1080 but somehow he doesn't have this problem and 60+ fps on medium setting
- @BabylonDK Another difference is that he bought the game from Origin and I bought it from Steam but I can't see that being the problem?
- @twitchandooo i believe your gpu and cpu are underpowered, staed this a few messages ago i believe, Send your dxdiag again, and post your bf2042 profile also please
When you say underpowered, do you mean they are literally not getting enough power or that they aren't powerful enough to run BF?
- @twitchandooo My buddy with 2070 Super, has it via Steam, like me, while my other buddy with the 3070 got it directly from Origin.
But I need to test with a new profile to see if that is messed up after the recent Season 2 patch. Could be the case.
