Crashing/pc restarts after
As it states exiting to desktop is causing pc to restart. I've tried multiple ways to resolve this all day. No luck I play in 4k and lowering to 1440 crashes also amd my pc restarts, I have no clue ...

EA Staff (Retired)@Tigerbalboa You should be able to click on the word "dxdiag" I posted above and it will link to a site showing you how to get the report. When you go to save it you can save it anywhere on your PC including your desktop.
I'll trying to after I finish reverting back to Windows 10. I was on 11. I found 11 to be too sluggish and buggy so I wanted to go back. I'll try the game again after and get that dxdiag file if it causes issues again.
after another test it restarted my pc again. it closes down fine running my native resolution (4K) but closing the game in 1440 seems to restart my pc as its crashing the driver,
heres the dxdiag file.

Hi @Tigerbalboa Thank you for this, can you try the following?
- Run the System File Checker tool then check for Windows and driver updates
- Repair or Reinstall .Net
- Repair VC++ by running both installers
- You can find the installer in the games install location (Similar to... D:\Games\OriginLibrary\Battlefield 2042\__Installer\vc\vc2015\redist)
- Disable Origin in-game overlay and any other running overlays
- Allow Origin and the game through your anti-virus and/or firewall
After check if anything changes if not can you try by putting your device in a Clean Boot? Also to check what type of monitor are you using?
