Crashing/pc restarts after
As it states exiting to desktop is causing pc to restart. I've tried multiple ways to resolve this all day. No luck I play in 4k and lowering to 1440 crashes also amd my pc restarts, I have no clue ...

- Run the System File Checker tool then check for Windows and driver updates
- Repair or Reinstall .Net
- Repair VC++ by running both installers
- You can find the installer in the games install location (Similar to... D:\Games\OriginLibrary\Battlefield 2042\__Installer\vc\vc2015\redist)
- Disable Origin in-game overlay and any other running overlays
- Allow Origin and the game through your anti-virus and/or firewall
After check if anything changes if not can you try by putting your device in a Clean Boot? Also to check what type of monitor are you using?
Inhave the same problem. Since update 4.0. I think is easy anti cheat.
I already tried clean boot, overlays, and sfc/scan now options. Still didn't help.
My monitor is the, Asus rog strix 4k 144hz 27 inch. (PG version of it)
Ok Iisten to this, I tried launching the game in 1440p by editing the resolution from the configuration file manually so it booted in this mode, soon as the game wanting to go fullscreen, BAM. BSOD screen with error saying something about kernel_mode_trap or something. I looked this up and did troubleshoots. Like ram diagnostics, dusting out ports, slots. Hardware. Then when I tried launching the game again I got an error with battlefield saying corrupt Profile_save error and those files after were empty when looking at them through notepad so i had to delete them and start that introduction to conquest thing again. Weird right?
Conclusion is I feel that whatever is in this 4.0 update for some reason my 3080 doesn't wanna run it in 1440p, it can't be my 3080 being faulty as my other games on my system run completely fine in 1440 and closes games with ease. It's funny how soon as I try playing 2042 again after couple of months of not playing just to try this update things go wrong. It's only battlefield that does this to my system. I have no clue what to do about it, so I've just brushed it off to being the game with said update and I'm just gonna carry on playing in 4k with dlss to help with fps. It would just be nice to play in 1440 for few more fps. Any ideas about that bsod issue on why battlefield caused it?

I delete the entire save folder in documents and the game re-entered normally
