Hey everyone, I have poked our teams on the issue.
A quick question what game mode are you trying to do it in? Also can you try over the weekend and see how tits working would help a lot if you can note down when you are trying.

Add me to this list as well, I am on Xbox Series X. If I turn off crossplay, I cannot complete joining a game. It always looks like it is about to but never proceeds. Crossplay should not be mandatory in a game like this without a console only or input only option. I am in the United States.
I have Xbox Series X and if I turn off Cross-network play to avoid cheating PC players my games will not load at all anymore. They did when the game first came out, but the past 2 weeks or so now, it absolutely will not load with cross network play turned off. I will sit in the waiting for players to join screen showing my player card along with potential 3 squad mates for a few minutes until the game eventually kicks me back to the main menu.
Why is no one reporting this and why is it it seems to only be happening to me and no one on my friends lists etc.
I've tried every setting under the sun and I've even deleted and reinstalled the game. No dice. And yes...that means no luck and no help from EA or Dice on this matter.
I wasted $150 pre-ordering the best version of this game with all the "perks" and I can't even play the game like it's designed and supposed to work in the manner in which I want to play it. Honestly, I've loved and bought and played all the battlefield titles since Battlefield 3 (with the exception of Battlefield One), but honestly...I doubt I will ever buy another one again. I definately will never ever encourage friends to buy a Battlefield or EA/Dice game again.
Has any one encountered this problem and is there any fix for the problem or is it time to just permanently give up on Battlefield?
I've reported it also, Series X here same exact issue. This is a problem because console against PC is zero fun. We basically have no choice but to play cross play at this point. Wonderful.
I don't get why it's all or nothing also. Cross play against other consoles like PS5 would be fine.
I play on Series S and have been having the same issue with cross play turned off for about a week and a half. I have been looking for people who have been reporting this as well, and have not come across any other reports, which is definitely strange. I don't know what to do differently, as playing against PC players just ruins the experience even more. Hopefully more people are oticing this issue and report it so we get some type of resolution from the devs.
My advice is to have anyone you know who's having this issue, post here with details. I'm happy to provide any details and do specific tests also!
I love the game when it works and just want to help improve it.
@BlackViper13Not sure either…I hope, but I think it also has something to do with matchmaking as well, as I sit in what seems to be the same non-fillable server for an hour before I give up. Really want this fixed and it shouldn’t be an issue tbh. Wish it was taken more serious by Dice/devs/EA…we’re in a lot of Crossplay off pain on Series X
