I had forgotten about this thread tbh, but it eventually stopped crashing for me - Im not 100% sure, but I think it’s because I started using EAdesktop instead of the Origin launcher.
After a grueling 2 weeks of having the same issue on a new pc upgrade, I had search high and low on how to fix this issue, hung gpu, I had been playing the game for a total of one weeks when out of nowhere last night the problem returned, everything is up to date bios, all drivers updated,
I have reinstalled windows 11 5 times since I built my pc in hopes to fix the gpu driver crash with no success until 01/08/2022 where I have played a week straight, (once game was installed drivers for gfx card were installed) as I had installed them with the motherboard and other parts once windows was installed 4 other times and had this issue continue,

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WIFI II MB
MSI Radeon RX 6800 GAMING X TRIO 16G
1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
32.0 GB 4000hmz
15tb on back up hard drives,
all other games run fine only bf2042 gets this crash bug,
is your error still persisting? cause i have the exact same error with fifa 22, and i have literally tired everything i found online. but nothing worked, have you found a solution yet?
