DirectX Error 'could not allocate sufficient memory' crashes
Hi! I've been playing Battlefield 2042 without any issues up until the recent 3.2 patch when the game has started crashing randomly on loading screens into matches with a directx error. I've been trying to troubleshoot but I cannot seem to find anything that makes any difference what so ever, it just randomly crashes 50% of the time if not more every loading screen I get. I am providing the error message and my DxDiag below. Any help or tips that might help is appreciated, as I was looking forward to patch 3.2 but it seems the patch has made it unplayable with these new crashes I'm getting.
Things I've already tried:
*Different in-game graphics settings.
*Reinstalled the game.
*Reinstalling Microsoft Redistributables.
*Tried different nvidia drivers with fresh installs.
*Windows is up to date.
*Tried different page file sizes.
*Verified game files on Steam.
*Deleted Battlefield 2042 directory in Documents.
Thanks in advance.
Downloading the intel extreme tuning utility program from their website and creating a specific profile with reducing the cores to 54x or 53x to switch to when running BF2042 seems to be the easiest option for this fix and working. This doesn’t require any bios interaction.
