Does not start in fullscreen

Product: Battlefield 2042
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
AMD or Nvidia Model Number NVIDIA GTX 1060 6 GB
Enter RAM memory size in GB 32 GB
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Game Menu
In which game menu were you when the bug occurred? Main
Please select your region North America
On which server did this happen?
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
Summarize your bug Game starts in windowed mode even though I had it set to fullscreen when playing before.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? - in display options set for fullscreen - play the game - exit the game - restart the game
What happens when the bug occurs? game starts in windowed mode - I have to go back into display options to reset to fullscreen
What should be happening instead? it should start in fullscreen - the setting I had before I closed it

    This rarely happens anymore, so I'm shutting down this thread, since it's so old.

    If anyone sees this happening on a consistent basis, please feel free to create a new thread.

    @DarthFDG I had such a problem too, this happens to me sometimes if I tap out of the game and the game is not getting minimized correctly

    If you go back after taping out to the game appears not in full screen again, it appears in a smaller window.

    If you than maximize the game with alt + enter and play some a round or more and then closing the game, it seems to resting the resolution.

    After a new start the game looks blocky and has a low resolution.

    If the above things happen, I go the options menu and change the resolution back and force and click apply before i close the game. On next start all works fine.

    Yeah, the bug is annoying but I hope the get a fix with the next patch in January.

    That doesn't help as well.

    All the stuff that worked on old BF do not work here.

    Still starting in windowed mode
