DXGI Error Device Hung - RTX 2070 Super Driver 537.58

As title says, been getting this since a couple hours ago. Was also getting this before I updated the drivers with the previous driver.

I played yesterday just fine all morning with no issues and was having a blast so I do not understand why this issue is now popping up out of no where. I cleared EA app cache, I restarted PC, I verified game files in Steam, I updated to the latest drivers only for it to continue giving the same error, I played other graphic intensive games to see if the same error would occur and it did not so I'm at an absolute loss. BF2042 is the only game with this issue on my PC. I included a screenshot of the exact error

    The below helped me to fix the error after many hours of troubleshooting

     
    1. Open the Turn Windows features On or Off using the control panel.
    2. Scroll down and find DirectPlay in the Legacy Components.
    3. Check both components by ticking the box.
    4. Click "OK" and restart the device to notice the changes.
