ERROR - unable to connect to the EA servers. 1:86001s:66003s:2397336630:0b code

I have had this error for about ~3-4 days now, and it is driving me crazy. I am on Win 10 and I am trying to launch Battlefield 2042.

I have tried:

*uninstalling, reinstalling BF2042

*uninstalling, reinstalling EA app

*EA's app recovery/clear cache

*logging in and out of EA app

*Verifying steam file system integrity

*Changing to a different DNS in Network Settings

At this point, I am looking for a solution that will get back BACK INTO THE GAME THAT I PAID FOR ASAP. Please and thank you.

I also just want to play offline, and yet I am having to deal with this Trash Always-On-DRM that DOESN'T WORK.

    @ging287 I've had the same error for months already, along with many others. There's nothing we can do to fix it so we just have to accept the situation and wait for EA to fix it. Last time I was able to play the game was all the way back in March so it is really frustrating and EA hasn't provided any news or updates regarding this issue...
