+1 for this error code in NZ today. PC player.
Last played on 1 Dec 2023 with no problems.
Had server issues with Battlefront 2 as well. After 2 hours of single player I returned to the menu and was connected.
There was a small download in the EA app today, now 2042 connects as expected.
