Greetings everyone, I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask but I'm getting desperate if I'm honest.
So as the title says, I'm having horrendous experience with this game, no matter which game mode or how many players are in, I'm getting over 95% CPU usage and the game stutters like crazy and makes the experience feel miserable. When I play Battlefield 5, everything works fine, sometimes there might be one or two stutters through the whole game, same applies for NFS Heat which I believe uses the same engine. But in 2042 its horrible.
My current specs are:
i9 12900k stock
Artic liquid Freezer III 360mm
RX 7800 XT
4x8 DDR4 3200mhz RAM
Asus Tuf Gaming B760-plus WiFi D4
Corsair 1000w RMe
1tb nvme
Windows 11
Latest non-beta Bios
I've tried repairing the game and repairing the EA Anti Cheat with no difference in performance.
If someone has a better idea of what to do I would appreciate it.
- Maybe disabling E-cores in bios might help.
- Double check that RAM is running in dual channel mode with CPU-Z app.
- Make sure CPU temperature is below 90°C.
To add to what @OskooI_007 is saying. Check to see if memory is running dual channel, see if XMP is enabled in bios if so disable it. The Intel memory management is on chip and doesn't like all memory slots used, try with only 2 DIMM's installed.
