have also got to add that sometimes after a restart the pc will be incredibly slow to open anything including another tab on a browser or file explorer and requires further restarts to speed up.
its great the chat function seems to be gone and it suggests asking the community but over a week and no response. what was wrong with talking to an agent sorting your issue or passing your issue to the relevant team to get back to you. instead a week goes by and not a single response from any ea personnel. you used to get a reply on twitter/X but even that has seemed to have stopped.
Can I please get a response? I have played BF2042 today for 3 hours and have encountered the issue yet again. reset pc started playing Hell let loose and pc is still stuttering, as stated this is only after playing ea titles I can go hours on other games without issue but as soon as I play an ea game and the issue starts the pc is practically unusable for atleast 3 restarts.
I would run HWiNFO app and see if any hardware goes over 90°C. Also check to see if CPU frequency downclocks while gaming.
