Fix for The GPU will not respond to more commands error

I literally tried all of the solutions offered online. Reinstall drivers, clean drivers, use an earlier driver, create a local user account, reset windows and so on. I had to start looking into hardware issues. I had repasted the GPU before when there were issues, the temperature was good however. While reading thermal compound reviews, I realized that although it has great thermal properties, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut only lasts about five months. I opened up the card, and the problem became apparent. It looked like the thermal paste had pulled away from one of the corners, leaving about 25% of the GPU exposed. The sensor showed a good temperature, but there was a hot spot. This produced the GPU will not respond to more commands error. Not only Battlefield but all games, except for really simple ones, like golf with your friends, would crash to the desktop. I repasted the GPU, and it runs beautifully. See you on the battlefield.
