Summarize your bug Hello, Since the last update, I am experiencing sudden stutters where my FPS would just drop from 120-140 to around 60-80 for 2-3 seconds and when that is happening, my camera is semi-stuck. By "semi-stuck" I mean that the camera barely moves (in any direction) no matter how hard I would move my mouse. This bug/glitch occurs randomly and when it happens the audio also stops for a millisecond. When I physically move the mouse while the bug occurs, the camera moves like I have 10 FPS but as I said it barely moves. I have performed the following troubleshooting with no success whatsoever: 1. Performed a "Verify files integrity" in Steam, deleted the Battlefield 2042 folder within "Documents", unbinded the look camera keys and re-binded them 2. Installed the latest NVidia update 3. Installed the latest Windows update 4. Freed the system from junk files/registry keys - I have 30GB free on the C disk where my Windows is installed so that is not a problem + the drive where the game is installed, in my case the D drive, has hundreds of GB available. 5. Uninstalled the game and removed any junk files/key registries from the system related to the game + Reinstalled it 6. Fixed some Windows related warnings I have found in the Windows Event Viewer (I did not know if those warnings are related somehow to the game but I did it anyways because why not) 7. Needless to say I have performed multiple restarts between steps to ensure that the issue is fixed. I left a file attached with my current configuration. The way the game behaves right now is pretty much unplayable. Although it seems like all the steps I have performed kind of made the stutters less annoying, the issue still persists as it happens pretty often. Do you have a fix? Is this a known issue? Is this related to the latest update? Have you received any complaints like this? What can I do? I enjoy the game a lot and I want to play it. 🙂 Before this update I did not have any issues. What happens when the bug occurs? I experience a heavy FPS drop and the camera does not move and get stuck. When I move the mouse, the camera barely moves.
What should be happening instead? The game should run smooth without any FPS drops and the mouse movement should not be altered and camera should not be blocked.
