[FIXED] S6 - Patch 6.0 & 6.1 Causes Mouse Input Issues

I'm surprised there's only one thread on this. It seems to be happening to a lot of us. It would be nice if dice at least acknowledged this issue and at least say they're working on a fix.

I'm getting the same issue after today's update! Never had this issue before today.

Started in the evening for me, Tuesday Oct 31st. Worked flawlessly throughout the day with the update, new mode etc, but now a horrible, unplayable experience in all modes, incl the bot/AI stuff.

Nvidia performance Overlay, but i have that fully disabled as i use Battlefield ingame settings (as seen in screenshot)


the EA app still Forces an Overlay on any game it launches,
Enabling us to open it by default keybinding. (as seen in screenshot)


Which part of the game is the issue happening in?
in Multiplayer,
Single player against AI,
all the Menus accessible from the main menu,
and wile the Game is minimized to the background (doesn't matter if the game is set in fullscreen, windowed or borderless prior)

Summarize your bug 
when it happens in game:
each time when it happens while walking around (what ever server i'm on), i can move my mouse to my other screens, and when i stop moving after, it kinda starts to pull back when it stops. wile this is happening my Cursor becomes visible and starts making a small cursor trail while i move my cursor around, this as if the game doesn't know if my cursor is supposed to be bound to the games screen/window or not, because it rapidly switches back and forward, making my in game movement look like it is doing stuttery steps to where i'm trying to look at

when the game is minimized to the background:
i get the same thing, as described above when ingame.
everytime it will do this as well when the game is minimized.
it is doing it wile i am double checking this response

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 
not really sure how, but i'll describe what i did prior to it starting to happen.

today on 31-10-2023 at 6PM European Central time.
i updated the game with the latest patch trough the EA app. (around 4,5Gb patch)
the game was allready using the Optimized settings from the Nvidia Experience panel. (As seen in Screenshot)

Today Nvidia also released the 546.01 Driver, so i also updated that.

when all was updated, u started the game for the first time with the update, and started playing with no issues in the first 2-3 hours.
than i closed the game, and played some World of Tanks (to finnish their Halloween event), and than i came back and started up Battlefield 2042 for the second time with the update.
than i first didnt notice it much, but as soon as i started playing the Event mode or other modes, i started noticing my Describtion of the problem wile looking around as it went on and off from minute to minute or longer ranges.

when it started in the first match, it also happened that on my client side, everyone in the match became invisible and me included, except for my floating side arm, fixed that by leaving and rematching to a new match, but the mouse cursor problem was still persisting.

in the next match, the poblem with the mouse Cursor kept on happening as in my description.
so i stopped, went back to the main menu and started looking trough my loadout as i managed to unlock stuff from the battlepass.
that is when i noticed it also happened wile i was in any menus that are accesible from the main menu.

What happens when the bug occurs?
Every 53 - 56 seconds, something wile Battlefield 2042 is running causes my PC to rapidly swap my PC Mouse Cursor focus between my desktop and BF2042, or completely minimize my client b/c I've clicked outside the screen. This happens on Fullscreen, Windowed, and Borderless 

What should be happening instead?
the Mouse Cursor should be completely locked/Limited and focused on the game screen when the game is in Focus on Fullscreen, windowed and borderless, making sure that the mouse Cursor isnt visible wile walking around in a match. but is visible when on menu's that recuire a Mouse Cursor imput on the PC platform.

maybe to fix this, the Mouse cursor should only be limited to a the game screen when Battlefield 2042 is in full Focus.

Having the issue currently. cant even enjoy the game the slightest when my controls are being messed with.
