FPS graph low SIM in Conquest/Breakthrough with bots

When I start a bot-only game of Conquest or Breakthrough on any map, my FPS and ping look fine (>100 FPS, <10 ping) but the game lags as if my ping were 10x the shown value. When I turn on the net graph (PerfOverlay.drawFps 1) the numbers are all green except SIM is always yellow and showing something around 20/5. I always get shot behind walls and see various other glitches like not being able to enter the missile POV when shooting Lis's rocket launcher or spawning under the ground when I deploy on a friendly transport chopper. The weird thing is none of this happens in regular matches - my net graph is all green (>100 FPS, 45 SIM) on even 128 player Conquest so not sure why this only happens in the bot-only modes.

Also, this only started happening starting from around 2 weeks ago - I bought the game 3 weeks ago and this didn't happen at the beginning.
