Free Look will not unbind from the arrow keys

how they managed to release a military game with jets and helicopters that has NO joystick support in 2021 was already mind boggling...

then they literally just told a HUGE section of their customers "we don't CARE how you would *like* to control the game... we just hard coded it to be impossible for you to use the keys you prefer... eat it."

I guess they don't realize that left-handed people exist... or that people have been playing PC games since before 3d GPUs even existed (aww i miss my 3dfx voodoo!) when NOBODY used WASD to move... it was ALL arrow key movement.

after 30 YEARS of playing every FPS with the same keybinds (Duke came out in '91 folks...) it's literally impossible to start using forced WASD now... and that isn't even the point.

This is *supposed* to be a AAA game made by one of the biggest gaming companies on the planet... there are literally indie games with ONE dev who can handle coding joystick support and user's choice keybinds.

This is also like the 57th battlefield they've made... we could use joysticks and rebind our controls in the original BF1942 like 20 years ago... HOW do you revert to this level of sheer incompetence when you've had this long to sort out how to put out a re-skin of the SAME game every couple of years???

but hey at least they didn'y HYPE the crap out of Portal only to pull the rug out from under all of us and make it give NO XP right?

Oh... wait...

and the icing on the cake is that EA support is just like "lol we already got your money... QQ moar!"

this is just beyond ridiculous.
