Hide all Microsoft services, DISABLE (uncheck) ALL other processes, apps and services !
Cleanboot is just a one time clean boot ! Next reboot all will be reset and a normal boot will be occure.
Use msconfig to disable apps permanent each for new reboot.
DISABLE ALL other processes, apps and services from booting with windows, check instructions below:
Use the keyboard shortcut “Windows Key + R” and the “Run” window will open.
In the text box, typ MSCONFIG and press Enter or OK and the MsConfig window will open".
Select the tab STARTUP , and disable apps/programs by right click at them!
Those disabled apps will no longer boot with Windows , till ya set them enabled again !
(DISABLE EVERYTHING, AND I MEAN EVERYTHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!)Disconnect your table also 😉
Did ya also try to reinstall origin <-- install as an admin !- 3 years ago
Looks like there are many other players who are facing with this same problem in this month.
I tried to reinstall the origin with admin and the game (BF2042) even not start.
The OriginClientService.exe shows up in task manager and instantly close on its own right away .....
Think there will be no fix/update for origin because they gonna close its services soon.
No Hope ....
Do your work EA! 😢Need to wait to able to play Games bought on Steam on EA Desktop.
Hope there is work around ....
Thanks for your help @Rokebo73 ! I will try the clean boot later!
