seems like the best solution yet is: uninstall bf2042 and play MW2
@t0bse1337 lol
Seem the problem is not the game. It is origin. I guess I should send tickets to origin instead of here ....
I wonder can I call the origin staffs here to solve the problem 😃
I have not been playing origin games for a month now ....
bye bye season 2 battle pass 😢
- Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@Elaxomoe EA app is replacement for Origin. Soon Origin will not be supported any more !
Delete / Uninstall origin (make sure ORIGIN GAMES folder is not being deleted).
Install EA app as an administartor it will find the origin games by it self or point EA app to folder ORIGIN GAMES !
Try and test game again ! - Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace
@Elaxomoe question, did ya buy the game via steam ??? If ya did bujy via steam , then it should be played via steam !
Steam and epic arent merged/compatible with each other or with Origin/EA app !
How ever , you could add the game as a non Epic or Origin/EA app game.
This still means that the platform (you buyed game at), need to be run all the time ! - Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace
@Elaxomoe did ya uninstall and delete already evrything from origin ?
Important! End all Origin processes.
Quit out of the Origin client.
Open up Task Manager on your computer. To do that, press your CTRL + ALT + Delete buttons all at the same time,
then click Task Manager.
In the Processes tab, check to see if there are any Origin processes still running.
They would be called OriginWebHelperService and OriginClientService.
End any of the running Origin processes you see. This will make sure Origin is fully closed.
Close Taskmanager.
Remove the Origin client files:
Press Windows key + 'E' to open File Explorer.
Select the C: drive.
Select the Program Files folder. On 64-bit systems it’s called Program Files (x86).
Right-click the Origin folder and select Delete.Right-click the Origin Games folder and select Delete.
If you want to save your game files for a future installation of Origin,
rename the folder "Origin Games" at C:\Program Files (x86)\ ,or move this folder to a other location.
Close File Explorer.
Delete Origin program cache:
Press Windows key + 'E' to open File Explorer.
Select the C: drive.
Press ALT, select Tools > Folder Options > View, then check Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
Delete content in Origin folder in C:\ProgramData\Delete content in Origin folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\
Delete content in Origin folder in C:\Users\ <username>\AppData\Roaming\
Completing all steps should completely remove the Origin client from your system.
Close File Explorer.
Now check in Windows / APPS if Origin is still there/installed , delete/uninstall (its possible an error will be shown , delete anyways)
Reboot your system
Now right click at the Steam shortcut , select properties, seletc RUN AS ADMINSTRATOR, and click apply.
Reboot your system again , after reboot start Steam and try games! - 3 years ago
