GPU Hang Detected
I've had this issue on/off with 2042 since launch. Sometimes once the main menu loads (where it shows your character in 3D) the game will freeze. Sometimes I'll get an error like below, sometimes not...

The solution below in the link seems to have solved my problems with the game, both GPU hang and CTD. I did every step. When i say seems i have played for a few hours without issue but it could be temporary or a fluke. Time will tell. If DISM gets stuck just wait. It can take one hour. I would also delete the shadercache. C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32

Would you be able to provide your computer specs and the exact issue that were occurring? For a gpu hang exclusive error, I would be surprised if an anti-cheat reload would fix any issues. Typically, errors related to gpu hang are due to drivers and problems with system pacing. The error mentioned in the thread you linked is a permission error. Exception Code 0xc0000005 is a Windows restriction issue where a program is hitting an access violation. Basically, the program wants access to a certain memory area but Windows is not allowing it permission. This can be caused by a driver issue, but more than likely, it is an administrator issue. If the anti-cheat system is not granted administrator privileges, it cannot access all the files it needs to regulate the game. This is why a restallation and fixing user permissions fixed the issue in that thread. Not to say this didn't fix your issue, but I do not believe this is the same error occurring for this thread.
Mayby not but if no-one has found a solution it could be worth to try out. Its not just anti-cheat reload. Its system repair also. My system is 14900K and 5090. I got the "GPU HANG DETECTED" but not anymore. Played 10+H since.
