This s*** is happening everytime i try to play the game, have to configure all the video, mouse sensibility, graphics, etc. and after i finish a round and game change the server, i have to do this all again, and there is no Apply button on config screen.
Turn off folder access control (Win 11_24H2) Antivirus, Defender.
BF2042.exe needs access to the following folders: %userprofile%\Documents

The only other thing I can't think of is to contact EA support.

Well that is strange, maybe try uninstalling/installing the game and repeating the steps?
