Hi

Hi guys,

I am having trouble with Battlefield 2042. My keyboard lags a lot and only while playing Battlefield. I disconnected and reconnected anything on my USB and moved the keyboard USB around. It only happened after I updated my computer to windows 11. I also tried multiple keyboards and the same thing happens. I had the same problem a couple of months ago when I wiped my computer back to windows 10 and it worked fine. This lag only happens on windows 11. Everything on my computer is up to date. I look at what other people have done but it never works for me. Is there something else I can try?

    Hey, @NinjaProH3  can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

    @EA_Atic None of it worked initially. So I formatted my pc and installed only BF. First try, the keyboard input was worse than ever, I was decided to just uninstall it and let go. Than I messed with the Armoury Crate again and ran the game. It ran slower than it was before, but the keyboard input was mostly gone for a whole hour of play. It's just frustrating a bit, I dont wanna be spending hours of my free time trying to fix my games. I just want to be able to sit down and play a bit to relax... I'll try a couple more rounds today and see how it goes. If I don't feel good about it, I'll just uninstall.

    Anyway, I appreciate your help and support.

    @GeneralHansy  Hey man, i see more poeple with keyboard input delay in all kind iof games.
    I did see this and maybe it could help ya:

    also make sure all youre system and windows drivers are update.
    check this:
    SYSTEM DRIVERS AND CHIPSET UPDATE

    Check the Youtube movie how to install , download and update ALL drivers.

    Open the web browser and enter url: https:\\www.drivereasy.com
    Click at Driver Update Tool in the upper bar and select Download Free Version.
    Click at the green button with the text DOWNLOAD DRIVER EASY NOW.
    When tool is downloaded select the file and run.
    Install Driver Easy Tool.

    Some drivers updates need to reboot your system, reboot system when needed,
    continue using Driver Easy untill 'ALL' drivers are updated.
    This free version allows only 1 download and 1 update at once.
    Reboot your system and test game

    (ps i will update youtube howto movie soon to install those drivers in kess difficult process)
