If Server Frame Time (SFT) is above 22.2ms. The only thing you can do is find a new server to play on. It means the server CPU is overloaded. Try to find a server with a really low SFT. Preferably well below 22.2ms. The lower the better.
Server Frame Time indicates the CPU performance of the server.
A server frame time of 25ms equals a server frame rate of 40fps.
1,000ms ÷ 25ms = 40fps
That means the server you are playing on is running at 40fps!
We divide by 1,000ms because that's how many milliseconds are in 1 second.
2042 servers have a tick rate of 45Hz. Which means one network update is being sent to every player every 22.2ms. (1,000 ÷ 45 = 22.2ms)
Since the server frame rate is falling below 45fps, that means the server's CPU is maxed out past 100% utilization and is overloaded.
Hz and FPS are interchangeable. They refer to the same thing. How many updates per second. Server Frame Time (SFT) is the interval between each update measured in milliseconds. Client Frame Time (CFT) is the same as SFT, but is measuring client CPU performance instead of server CPU performance. The client being your PC's CPU, instead of the game server's CPU
