Is it just me or have these issues gotten exponentially worse since the 3.1 patch?One round I can go 34-6 and the next round can't hit the broad side of a barn, I'm shot around corners, behind cover hell sometimes behind a mountain, it's nuts.I get that there are going to be good rounds and bad rounds, but I mean I literally can't kill anybody in some rounds, like I'm shooting them little Styrofoam peanuts or something.I'm no "pro-gamer" but I sure as hell am not a slouch either so it's not a matter of "getting gud" something is off with EA/Dice's servers.And I hate to sound like a broken record, but a proper server browser and persistent servers would sort this out a lot faster than this voodoo matchmaking crap we have now.Anyway, share your thoughts and hit the "Me Too" button if you're having the same experience.

To make it short, i'm pretty sure the problem is on the crossplatform netcode.I won't talk before season 2, game was quite a mess...But in season 2, even if hit reg wasn't fantastic, the game was going on the good direction.Since season 3 it is going down again. Weird deaths after reaching cover, feeling one shot killed at medium range (50-80m) by some weapons that shouldn't, etc, etc. Players feel cheated by the game too many times because of the responses they have on their screen.My PC is not especially young... I7 7700 and GTX1070 for 1080p all low it works. And i have great internet, fiber optic no packet loss and ping at 12.I'm sure i have no internet problem, and i see people with more advanced hardware with the same issue. And the same issue affects consoles too... It's not hardware related.I'm seing a huge increase in the return of console vs PC war, how many "stop crossplatform" or "aim assist is broken from PC receiving end" subjects in this forum ?We didn't had those problems in BF1 and BFV. Dice state the aim assist is at the same level as previous. Soo why players feel cheated ? And worse, both sides (controlers and M&K) feel cheated.With a friend we laugh about the "Xbox cheaters" since season 3... Of course we don't believe they are cheating, but from the receiving end, the shots are miraculous and it seems to be insta death on some occasions (it's not consistent fortunatly). If Xbox players feel the same from PC players i understand the hate. Curiously i have far less issues with Playstation when killed, this increase my suspicions.I think all those problems of TTK vs TTD, aim assist "too powerfull", "all PC are cheaters cut the crossplay", etc, etc, comes from the crossplatform netcode.All players who played with crossplatform off are saying the same, the game is really better. I did it with friends (hard on PC most of the time matchmaking don't find a game, congrats Dice). But when we succeded, waow, it's night and day.Try it by yourself you'll notice the difference with your first shoots.I'm not a programmer, but i'm pretty sure this is where devs should look to solve all those problems.

@Ironhead841It's really inconsistent at the moment I experienced exactly what you said yesterday.One round was fine the next round was quite frankly laughable and I actually had to quit a few rounds, it was that bad. ☹️

Something is going on.It feels like it is related to Crossplay/Aim Assist related. There is extra math to do related to aim assist that must be messing with the net code.

@Adamonic Yessir, I agree 100%!I have NEVER had this kind of inconsistent gameplay experiences with any other Battlefield title, and I own and have played them all except Hardline.It is either the matchmaking is crap, or the servers are just that terrible, period. I guess it could be both.As I said in my original post, I firmly believe this could be resolved with a server browser and persistent servers just like every other Battlefield game prior to BF2042 had.

Apart from the "too many players" thing (I couldn't even hope to count the number of times I've spawned directly in front of a player/vehicle that is already shooting at something else and therefore me), this thread prerfectly captures what is wrong with the game.I was playing on Exposure tonight. At the stairs up from the tunnel at the C flag, I saw a guy who was prone pop up, shoot half a clip to my right, then duck back down. They were shooting maybe three metres to my right. A while (it felt like at least a second) later, I just died. To that guy. By the bullets they were seemingly firing at someone else.How can the developers expect that the game will last when this happens in 4 out of 5 games? It's fortunate that I don't care about my quit percentage, because at the moment it's approaching 90%.

I have submitted a couple of videos to the Devs as I said already.
As to when the time nudge goes crazy it is constantly in flux, if it stays low (as in the single digits) the hit reg seems fine, once it starts getting into double digits is when the hit reg feels off.
Occasionally it will actually be equal to or greater than my ping and in that case, I can't seem to hit anything.
The problem isn't related to where I am on the map or how much is going on, it is immediately apparent upon entering the server instance.
I don't believe this has anything to do with my connection or system and is a server-side problem.

I was killed by a PP-21 in 2 shots last night, last being a headshot. got a vid of it, same guy one shot me later on but the clip didn't come out. there is a serious sync issue or something.

I just had three games in a row where I literally couldn't hit ANYTHING.
Ping=low to mid 30's TN=16-26-ish
I can't pick where I want to play so that's about the best I can hope for apparently. So, what the hell is going on?
I really hope some sort of fix is in the works, I don't think I can handle much more of this aggravation.
When this game is working properly it can be pretty fun, but man it seems like that's the outlier and broken is the new normal.
