Can we at least keep this one civil so if the EA CM's refuse to respond again it looks poorly on them, not us. 

But to sum up the issue and to make it as clear as possible

Yes we are aware of the tweet mentioning XP being reduced in CO-OP/SOLO, and removed in Portal. We are not talking about portal however, so all XP should be working, but at a reduced rate. This is not about XP, though - But I made the above point so that even if you consider this as XP, which the player base does not we can still reach common ground and assume the tweet is incorrect in what it is stating, or agree this is a bug.

On any gun or vehicle, There will be 3 unlocks that are not considered "Mastery". On weapons this is stated clearly, On vehicles this is not stated.

For these non-mastery unlocks, they work as you would expect. 1 kill using the equipment results in 1 point towards the unlock, until it is unlocked.

For the mastery ones, They do not work. In MP you will see both mastery and non increment by a point. In CO-OP./SOLO only the non-mastery will.

This is no reduction, but a complete halt and lack of progress, despite as I established in the first paragraph, should be reduced at worst. Secondly, As an end user - and most will agree with me here, I am willing to bet on that - we do not consider these tasks to be "XP", "XP" relates to the player level in our eyes.

So basically either the tweet is wrong, and needs to be updated to be more clear that weapon unlocks have been disabled in CO-OP/SOLO, Or this is an issue. Could be as simple as it being rounded down to zero for all I know, or someone flipped the wrong setting. Alternatively, could be both a bug and a miswording of the tweet, it is supposed to be reduced but is bugged to actually have 0 progress instead.
