Is the game one gigantic memory leak now?

Upon start-up and rolling into the first game- RAM usage is like 4GB. Within 30 seconds you can watch it start creeping up to 7-8GB before it just freezes and crashes. I've tried "Repairing" the game, clean-boot, and a simple restart. There are no other programs running now that are different than prior to the last update. This is something that started happening recently. The furthest I've made it into a game is about halfway before FPS drops to basically a slideshow (when RAM usage is maxed out) vs. when starting the match being at 120 fps.

  • @MassiveFnChungus game requirements are 8gb Ram
At this moment there are some issues with freeze/crashes, starts indeed with dropping FPS , and movements like if ya play in slowmotion !

Yea I usually get so frustrated with the 5 fps that I Alt F4 and restart the game. It’s pretty wild though- you can watch RAM usage continuously climb while in the main menu. Hopefully it gets sorted soon

  • YEP since the update it has leaked so badly that it crashes the game everytime! its unplayable.....back to release day version i guess. I have done all the things you have also so its something to do with there recent update and not us even if they try to pass it off as our machines no doubt.

@EA_Atic Actually, no. Whatever was going on seems to have sorted itself out. Thanks for the reply!
