Summarize your bug The issue with the aim assist bubble seems noticeably worse now after Patch 4.0. I only noticed it very occasionally whilst sniping prior to 4.0, but in the last few days it seems more frequent and then more inconsistent as a result. It was quite common to spot before on ARs/LMGs. At first I thought it was just a case of having to retrain muscle memory due to the changes with weapon attachments, but it was unmistakable during live games last night, and then recreating the issue in solo/coop mode.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Targeting individuals the bug seems inconsistent, sometimes it's there sometimes not. eg. Three separate instances on Discarded targeting people on the command deck from in between D2 and D1, I could not physically line the cross hairs up as controller input felt like it hit a tar pit when It tried to adjust. Doesn't matter if they were standing still or not. Just now in solo mode testing out same thing, but the problem seemed even easier to replicate when trying to line up on multiple targets in a vehicle.
What happens when the bug occurs? Literally feels like something is counteracting aim input. For frequency I would say this happened Rarely before when sniping pre-4.0, now over the past few days Occasionally maybe 25-30%.
What should be happening instead? Should be a smooth response to controller input rather than feeling like it's hitting an invisible buffer.
I have nothing to offer for now without sifting through hours of footage, but will try and record/find some soon.
