Lag issues , Battlefield 2042

The same. Been playing since BF1942 and never had this type of issue, running on a 2070 Super, 16GB ram, Win 10, 7600k, 850w ps. Runs laggy, ping is fine though, unplayable competitively. CPU & GPU running fine, tried all the types of fixes being discussed. Back to Battlefield 4 then!

1. you're cpu is little older ( the AMD FX-8320 is running old Bulldozer architect) doesn't have multi threading )

2. 16g of ram isnt bad but 32g will help allot get faster ram with 4200mhz fast ram speed the better stock ram cards run at 1800mhz 

3.playing the game from a sata drive load's slower vs solid state drive 

4. Radeon RX 570 8 GB Video card. AMD gpu's are terrible.

To me sounds like you're bottlenecking you're pc older CPU with newish GPU you're CPU is really holding you back really at the moment 

Sounds like I would need a complete rebuild to play this game smoothly, but, according to the system requirments it should run fine

Long story short, this game sucks - I have a very fast internet connection and all BF games work well, except from 2042. Sorry to hear your story, I have the same and I can't fix it.
