Latest patch keeps disabling vertical sync upon launching game

MSI Z370 Gaming Plus, RTX 2060 6g, Geforce game ready driver ver 580.97

Upon launch my gpu temp rises rapidly, noticed vertical sync has to be turned off every time I relaunch.
