Losing connection to EA servers after ~20-30 minutes of gameplay?

"Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again. Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information.

Error code: 1:-1057125876O:-922973175B"

This is the message I get after around 20-30 minutes of playing online in various servers (both official or unofficial). Sometimes I get the message whenever I log in. Battlefront 2 is also showing me similar "lost connection to server" messages. Already restarted my PC, my internet modem, the game, network drivers and GPU all up to date, game files are verified on Steam, game cache cleared, DNS server changed, tried launching the game from EA app same end result. Not sure what to do next. This is a new PC and first time playing in a few months. Game never had any issues on my gaming laptop or PS5. Any suggestions as what to try next? Thanks.

  • 3 months later and same exact problem. I even forwarded all relevant ports as per EA's website for BF2042 Steam. Currently reinstalling the game from scratch.

Have you tried entering the DNS address for your Ethernet / Wifi connection in Windows ? Below I attach a screen shot of how to do this, order according to the numbering. In my case this solved the problem of connecting to the main server in CoD WW II and newer. The auto-detect option does not always work correctly.

If i helped give me xp.
