Lost settings

Title says it all.  Started the game, played for a while, closed the game.  Started the game from Origin again later, and it's acting like it's a first-time start.  Resolution is wrong, making me go through all the calibration and game demo again.    Restarted the game, killed Origin and restarted it, rebooted the PC, no luck.  What happened to all my settings?  How can I get them back?

  • Hi @Ympakt, settings are saved in to document folder makes sure that origin and 2042 is allowed to save there. Also make sure that one drive or similar programs keep force updating those folders with old setting.

  • I had a backup copy of my profile settings that I had saved out of habit thanks to previous BF2042 patches that had wrecked profile settings.  After renaming it to the current profile and a couple restarts the game functioned normally.
