Hud (crosshair and range) is displayed only when ground (remote) deployed. Tried repair and reinstalled the software. It looks like i am using a pair of binoculars that can zoom. Can still designate targets.
This is still an issue, and no one is confirming if this is supposed to be like this for the laser designator. This and among other things, starting to lose faith in yall. No real communication or update into looking into this or among other issues. It's pretty sad.
Holding Laser Designator still has no HUD and Rangefinding. Only when deployed is that there. Is this supposed to be this way or is this a bug? If supposed to be this way. Why?
I'm curious—was it intentional in the previous patch that the HUD on the LTLM II disappeared and now looks like a pair of binoculars?
Or is this actually a bug?
Are there plans to fix this?
Adding unto injury. This recent update has not fixed the Handheld issues with the Laser Designator, still no proper HUD and Rangefinding when holding gadget.
I'll gladly spend the rest of my time playing other games now. So silly.
Edit: The last 19 days, is that not calling this issue out? With plenty of replies reporting the same issue? So freaking silly.

If the issue itself is not called out on any update, it has not been addressed. If and or when an issue is addressed is not an answer we can provide unless the studio team has addressed it in an update to the community.
Is the issue of the laser designator not properly having HUD displays when holding it, going to get fixed?

I have the same issue as the person who made the post, and the bug only started happening after the recent update.
Same as above. Repaired, reinstalled, wiped cache on PC. This happened after the last update. Using EA launcher. Designator has no hud in hand only, when deployed the hud is normal. Pick it back up and it is missing again.
