Med Stim Pen becomes unuseable when taking damage during use, until respawn

Summarize your bug When the med stim pen is equipped and being actively used, if the player takes damage or dies and is revived, they will be no longer able to use the med stim until total player death and respawn.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? equip stim, take damage, use the stim, and then take damage while it is being actively used
What happens when the bug occurs? the stim gadget becomes unuseable after damage has been taken mid use, and the item is greyed out
What should be happening instead? player should be able to use the med stim again sometime after taking damage

This bug has been happening most likely pre 4.0 patch, where the med stim gets greyed out and the player is unable to further deploy it in their current life, when taking damage as they are using the med stim pen simultaneously. Happens every time as far as I can tell, including post-revive if the player was to die performing this action. It should allow deployment attempts once the player is no longer taking damage? I get it with all specialists, all maps, all AOW gamemodes / portal (when using 2042 soldiers)
