Hello. I was using MSI Afterburner and RTSS apps on PC for learning values of my PC hardwares while play BF2042 but after season 6 update it doesn't work so I can't see OSD of MSI Afterburner and RTSS... could you please fix this?
I use RTSS mainly to cap the framerate and also to monitor temps, GPU usage and stuff. And now it doesn't work anymore, that's just great. Smh
The biggest question is, why in the * is there no option to cap the framerate in the game's settings? Even CoD games offer this. I want to cap my MAIN MENU framerate to something like 70FPS, because there's no need for the game to run at an unlocked framerate in the main menu for God's sake!
When I'm in an actual match, AMD's "Chill" option does work, but I wish I could cap the main menu framerate as well... My GPU gets super loud because I reach like 340 FPS when I simply want to check out some weapon attachments...

Does anyone know any other program to limit FPS apart from RTSS and Nvidia/AMD Panel? You can't count on EA's support, if they wanted to do something about it, someone from the EA team would have commented a long time ago. I suspect that they blocked RTSS on purpose for some political reasons, so there is no point in expecting them to fix this problem.
Good question, I have a better question, why was the command in console Gametime.MaxVariableFPS available in older Battlefields (from V to olders), and suddenly it's not available in Battlefield 2042? I bought Battlefield 2042 only because it was 64% off, but I see that I may have made a mistake. EA games always have some strange problems, but blocking RTSS is a complete overreaction, instead of setting a normal FPS limit, the graphics constantly run at high speed and do not need to be tired.
What's more, I wouldn't even think of a game developer who would block RTSS and MSI Afterburner, which is a pity, because if I had read about this type of prank before purchasing, I wouldn't have bought this game.
A person learns all his life.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's a way to push us into using the fps limiter from the control panel.

EA try to BLOCK the program to show the real problems this game have!..VAC in 5 days get the problem with AMD LAG+ problem with CS2 that make bans, they just put the program with WIHTE LIST, problem solved!..But EA take more tham 1 year to solve the game so dont think they are interested on this.

I'm not defending DICE here because I use Afterburner, but Valve hasn't whitelisted anything, hell if anything they did the opposite as they introduced a driver verification and now they're blocking players who are still using the driver with AntiLag+. It's up to AMD to fix that, not Valve.
