Out of Memory BF 2042
Hi, I have the same issue with BF42 when I start up the game and I go into loading screen to enter the main menu, it crashes, sometimes it gets through but always the same crash. "Could not allocate ...
There are potentially helpful steps in the following thread, thanks.
So I basically did everything that they posted there not the cmos reset bcs I troubleshot that and its not my windows.
And it still doesn't work. The only thing I find weird is that I don't find Rebar in Bios Setup but it is turned off.
So NFS Heat and BF42 still keep on crashing with the same message still. And the crash is always on Bootup.
Quick Side Note: Only BF42 worked somehow when I downloaded an old version of a nvidia driver but it did still crash after a few games.
But I could play... The thing is I lost that driver version when I updated and I don't remember wich version it was.
@Not_Ukyurihey man , rebar is hidden , will post info (need to edit post)
Most of the time this error is done by to high cpu mhz / voltages.
Youre system will run probarly stock at 5500Mhz , clock it down to 5300Mhz.
Now set vcore as a FIXED VCORE , and set manually voltage at 1.28 Volt.
Save and exit , shutdown PC, dispatch power cable and now hold down power button from pc for about 10 seconds.
Boot up PC, windows will CFG it self. Now reboot again and test game !
Update us please (ps i will post screenshot for REBAR..) Into bios SETTINGS / IO PORTTS
So this is what I got when I did those tweaks.
I enabled the options you showed in the pictures.
Tested the game and still crashed but without displaying messages.
Btw just to make sure can you give me the exact amounts that I have to chose to clock down to 5300 Mhz?
