@SpiffSpaceman post dxdiag.
Ya are using an 13th gen processor, is youre bios up to date and did set INTEL STANDARD GUIDELINE in the bios so it wont overheat and use to much volt/watt/amp ? <> A known issuie with 13th and 14th gen Intel Cpu's
It wil also fix some stabilty issues with certain programs/apps/software <> game for example !
Cheers

I updated bios to version released at end of August. I've also gone through and made sure that the Intel standard CPU cooling setting is enabled.
Attached is dxdiag that I just ran after doing the above.

Did a cmos reset ? Sometimes after an Bios upgrade ya need to Hard Reset Bios.
Check youre manual how to Hard reset bios (cmos reset).
Also dont use the EXTREME INTEL BASELINE, But use the Performance setting (ya did check bios for this NEW setting?).
Also make sure youre system is uptodate , youre windows /system drivers and firmware for youre hardware (firmware for huntsman elite for example)
After update windows/drivers/firmware and cmos reset , test game with INTEL PERFORMANCE setting !
Update us please ! Cheers- 11 months ago

I have a 12th gen i9. I wonder if it could be causing the same issue for me because I have noticed my temps spike on BF 2042 and only BF 2042 but I consistently blue screen every time I play 2042 and the windows crash log is not very helpful
