[PC] Game stuck on title screen when run from hard drive

Upon launching the game, the game shows a black screen for a bit, then a title screen that displays nothing but the background elements. Pressing Enter, Space, and clicking around seem to do nothing.

    Managed to "solve" the issue by running the game on my SSD as opposed to my hard drive. The hard drive is formatted with BTRFS (usable via WinBTRFS) and so I thought this was the issue until I heard of another person using NTFS who also had the same issue.

    2 is a small sample size, of course, so if anyone else has experienced this issue, leave a comment so I know whether or not this is an issue with the game or an issue with WinBTRFS.

    Don't look for a fix ,the solution is a bigger SSD or NVME drive for modern titles like this one...

    I shouldn't have to get a new SSD just for one game. Warzone 2, released months ago, with a map over ten times the size of Orbital, along with AI crawling all over the place in DMZ, runs just fine off my hard drive. I'd have left this thread marked as unsolved if it wasn't for EA doing it for me despite me putting "solved" in quotes to indicate that it's no proper solution.

    This is still an issue, even after the recent update. Getting an SSD is not a solution. I don't want to play the game unless I can store it in a location where space is not a premium.
