@EA_Kent I had the issue in 2 matches again...whilst connected to WIFI. @Berto200104 you as well?
I think this might be a server side issue

Thanks for the updates, everyone.
If switching from LAN cable to WiFi (or vice versa) works for a while, I am curious if it might be an issue with the network IP.
Has anyone tried setting a static IP for their system to see if that makes any difference? The Port Forward website has some instructions on how you can set that up, if needed.
Let me know if you're still running into the same issue after setting a static IP address. Thanks!
I was playing on the ea beta app and having the same problem I downloaded origin and it started downloading extra files for bf2042 and haven't had a problem since might be worth trying
I had the exact same error. Just my body did this weird thing before I got kicked, with no error.
So far resetting my router did the thing. Only played a few matches though, but no kick.A static IP did not work.
Here an overview of everything I have tried so far:
- Reinstalled the game
- Static IP address
- restarting my router / modem
- Playing with ethernet connection results in getting kicked in 80 % of the matches
- Playing through wifi is more stable. I can play 90 % of the matches. Connection in general is worse via Wifi.

Thanks for following up!
Did you ever try changing your DNS in Windows to see if that makes any difference as well? You can change the DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. For more details on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website. Choosing the Manual option will let you enter a DNS of your choosing.
I usually go with the public Google DNS (Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8; Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but some people have also mentioned that using the public Cloudflare DNS can help (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1).
Let me know if that makes any difference for you. Thanks!
@BlackBriar80 I have the same issue. This happens 100% of the times I play a match. I play on PS5 though.
While in-match the game freezes and I'm being kicked out of the game, sent straight to the PS5 homescreen. No clue as to what causes this. No network issues, re-installing is useless, factory reset doesn't help, Unbelievably annoying, really considering applying for a refund.
Tried this as well. Also updated my network-cards driver to be sure..did not work as well.

Does your network card use a proprietary driver, or are you on the Windows network drivers? I have seen a few people mention that switching to the basic Windows network drivers has made a difference with disconnections, so I am curious if that could help in this case.
@EA_Kent I'm using the basic window's driver. Its the basic driver for my mainboards network adapter.
