PlayStation 5 - Game Crash - Missing Language Pack

We have discovered a game crash that can occur for players on PlayStation 5 who are running the game in either Korean, or Traditional Chinese. A temporary workaround is to download the Battlefield 2042 English Language pack.

Here is how you do that:

Go to home screen on PS5 and navigate to Battlefield 2042 icon
Press the Options button
Scroll and select "Manage Game Content" (3rd option from the top)
Select locate "English Language"
Press "X" to download the language pack
Run your game as normal

You do not have to switch your Operating System or in-game language to English to continue playing. Simply downloading the English Language pack is enough to continue playing.

We appreciate your patience while our teams work to resolve this crash so downloading the Language Pack is no longer necessary.
